Schmitz & Krieger GmbH in Cologne and Erasmus & Willms GmbH in Aachen have been in business about as long as industrial engines have existed. We have gained unique experience, evidenced by the transformation of a traditional auto workshop into a leading specialist for engines, drive trains, and subassemblies.
Our companies were founded in 1911 and 1922 respectively. Having started off as cylinder grinding outfits, we now manufacture and deliver a large variety of exchange equipment/units through the BU Drive Group, for almost every type and class of vehicle.
Our customers include major manufacturers and importers of cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial engines. We also deal with auto parts wholesalers, and operators of auto workshops, vehicle fleets, and stationary units. And we also serve private individuals in our region.
